Europe‘s recent elections revealed that democracy‘s adversaries are gaining ground through democratic means/elections. Within parliaments, they work to erode the very foundations of our democratic structures.
In response, this poster campaign is dedicated to preserving and enhancing our democratic values. People from diverse backgrounds
are photographed against a stark white backdrop, identifying themselves as „democracy defenders,“ „democracy fans,“ „democracy
advocates,“ or „democracy champions.“ One word succinctly conveying their commitment.
We invite everyone to give democracy a face — your face. Over 1,200 individuals in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland have already
taken a stand through this initiative. These striking, large-format posters serve as powerful visual statements and thought-provoking pieces at bus stops, on building
fences, city buses, and digital billboards in Mainz, Saarbrücken, Kaiserslautern, Speyer, and many smaller towns. The campaign‘s reach is expanding, with aspirations to spread across Germany.
